My favorite shrine in Kamakura. It combines the Kyoto-like Torii Gates with cool little fox ceramics in a jungle like setting. I've been here a few times and I never get tired of it

A wonderful shrine to visit and explore about a 15 minutes walk from Kamakura Station. It’s a little hike up a hill but if you like foxes and Torii Gates it’s a great shrine to visit. It was nice, quiet and just peaceful to enjoy
A shrine next to a residential area. ... Keep quiet when visiting here. Many \torii\-s you can go through under. A fancy thing. You can see many fox objects here. They are not technically gods but just kind of servants of the god of INARI. The god of INARI is very powerful and you can wish for wealth here :)
I’ve had the opportunity to visit Kamakura many times over the past few years so it’s getting harder and harder to find unexplored hidden gems. This inari (fox) shrine is very peaceful and a stunning photo spot. It’s nestled in the forest between Zeniarai Benzaiten, where you can literally wash your money so that it brings you luck when spending it, and Kōtoku-in famous for its daibutsu (giant Buddha) statue.
One of the best places to see red torii tunnels in Japan, but with none of the tourist hordes!
