I love Singmalay food so I have been so many times. Satay Inn used to be on the Ground Floor but after refurbishing they are now on the lower ground. Food is always good at City Garden Hotel.

Food is fairly good. Not very crowded at lunch hour. As a hotel, service could have been better. The dishes should be served more or less the same time but not one after another.
Visited Satay Inn in TST before but it was a bad experience, tonight I visit Satay Inn @ North Point and it did give me a much better experience! The food is good (I have tried Signature Hainanese Chicken Rice and Fried Chinese Kale with Salted Fish and Garlic) and the environment of the restaurant is good! Nice and clean. If the drink (Chendol) can improve and have more green pea and jelly strips, it will be much much better.
Food ok but service is low standard. Then Beef Rendang came out and we then waited 10 minutes for the rice. Even though we asked twice. We had ordered two signature dishes and everything came out separately. Even after asking where are the late items? This was followed by a pregnant pause. And we were the first customers to arrive. The wait staff and management are not on the ball. Really quite disappointing.
Craving a Milo dinosaur while checking out the cha chaan teng's? Come here! Was here at the hotel during one of their peak seasons. Had dinner/supper with a colleague. Hopefully I managed to introduce this colleague to the finer aspects of hawker dining [haha]. Dishes in the photo to come- carrot cake, mee goreng. Singapore represent!

Nice Singaporean food, and comfortable environment. Satay Inn located inside Garden hotel, to go there, you have to go inside the hotel to reach it's basement. And the food here is nice and decent, although it's not really a Singapore food feeling. And the restaurant with lot of open space, it's a good place for gathering. Surprisingly, not all of their customers are hotel resistants.
