Eat but don’t stay!! There is some improvement needed, the view is great over saumur and the castle. It’s located outside the town in residency area. The good thing is the service the girls are working well and hard it’s seem they have lots of pressure from the direction. The style of the hotel is modern can’t find the concept really. The pool is too small for the size of the hotel can’t swim and it’s in the middle of the terrace (you have to pay extra of you want a towel...) . You have to pay for the spa (1 sauna 1 hamam)... 15 euros thanks to the covid normally it’s 30 per personnes... the best thing is the restaurant great food. The confort of the room is good that’s good point but expensive and lot of extra. Not very happy about my stay i also they debit my cad 2 days before my arrival my contrat say paiement at the hotel. Choose and other hotel and you can have a drink and eat here. 4 stars for the food 2 for the hotel.

It was our third time. This time,we had lunch and wanted to know if we can use swimming pool with pass. Extremely disappointed with the front desk employee. Not flexible at all.(nobody in the pool at that time) Policy changes every year? She says that adults can go but not the children. What's the point of this kind of policy? Do you really think that the parents with children go to the pool and children will watch them swimming? ?

Update: An unprompted apology from staff for delays in service followed by the most incredible dinner resulted in a 5* experience. Would recommend! Not a great start. Arrived today at 4pm, check in is from 3pm. Tried to get a drink after freshening up. Despite signage showing bar open from 5pm, advised bar not open for another half hour. Currently sat hungry and thirsty waiting for food which won't be served until 7.30pm and bar that doesn't open til 6pm. The room is great, clean and spacious, just a shame the service is immeasurable so far.

Very nice, comfortable with a glorious view over Saumur. Food excellent and service impeccable. Could do with 2 coffee making machines for breakfast. A nice relaxing time

Can't comment on the hotel part but the restaurant was very good, serving regional dishes, often with a contemporary twist. Although the food was good we didn't feel some of it it quite justified the prices hence four rather than five stars. The service was excellent, as was probably the environment, although it was dark and raining so we couldn't say for sure! Can thoroughly recommend it though.
