A fascinating mix of the historic and the modern. Lovely architecture. Great stories. Living history. Here's a jewel of a city whose eyes are fixed on preserving the past while embracing the present.

Extremely wall to wall people and cars. Very, very busy. Suggestions to get there early otherwise parking is hard to find. The visitors center was closed. Pretty with old fashioned buildings. Lots if restaurants. The River is nice.

First time to Savannah for me . I used Kelly Tours Savannah to give me a 90 minute drive through 11 spots. They drove me around. they did a wonderful job for about 30 a person. that way I could see what I wanted to, go back to visit and enjoy. They then allow for me to give them a call come pick me up for the next two days for the same price. one price for 2 days. There are unique shops , it is an artisan community , every corner there's two or three restaurants, and I want to try each and every one of them. there's just not enough time.... I'll be back. Right now a lot of Savannah has already been restored they are also working on roads and restoring areas south of the historic district. all in all I'm excited to be able to come back here and discover more history.

When we go to a new area, we usually take a bus or trolley tour, just to find out what we want to go see and what we can skip. Michael was a great trolley tour driver and narrator and gave us a lot of history and interesting facts about Savannah. We will definitely be back.

Love how well they have provided a visual written history for tourists. We were so impressed by how clean everything was
