Such a great place! Probably the most affordable food that you will find in Tamarindo. Everything we tried was super tasty. It is a simple Soda as they call it in Costa Rica but I promise you won’t be disappointed. Also if you need a break from all the traditional food you will find french fries and pasta here.

We love trying local cuisine. We had this restaurant on our list and weren’t disappointed at all. The location is in an alley, don’t be put off by the location. We felt safe and welcomed upon entering restaurant. It is such a local place (Soda) with friendly personnel and an amazing chef! Yes let’s call her a chef because she cooks like it and the flavors of every meal show! We had the ceviche and a fried fish. My only regret is that we got there with very limited time before starting a tour. I wish I would have more time to enjoy the local vibe and savor the flavors so well. The personnel did everything to get our orders out so quick and I am so grateful for their patience in working with us and to get our food to go. Every bite was worth it!

Best food in Tamarindo, my favourite food ceviche, casados, whole red snapper... wait a minute, pretty much everything in their menu ️ Made with love and dedication by local people, you can definitely see Elinee’s passion for the kitchen, she is the owner, let’s all support local business!

Highly recommend!! Seems like a hole in the wall and not very welcoming but ended up being super authentic, tasty, friendly atmosphere and extremely inexpensive!

A truly hidden gem. Super low key and food is great. Probably the cheapest food I have had also in Costa Rica.

Delicious food at a great price. You can tell really put their heart and soul into the food they serve.

Delicious creole food!! We went twice in two days! The creole rice is a must (comes with chicken, beef, fish and shrimp) and fried plantains. I tried lots of restaurants in Tamarindo, this one being by far the best.
