Good place to get prepared BBQ food
like
I bought 10 pcs of pork sticky rice dumpling 雅芳五香咸肉棕 at C & C Supermarket to share with my children. The contents taste good, but the dumpling was not fully cooked. The glutinous rice is supposed to stick together, but most of it was loose. It ained\ on my table and I had a messy job cleaning up.
I reason I went by to this store because of the great reviews. It was a bad experience for me. I bought pork chops, satay chicken, shiu mai, shrimp wontons, turnip paste etc. Turnip paste has too much flour at the bottom. The pork chops and the chicken satay I had to dump them. The chicken satay was not satay at all, the so call marinade was watery, no satay flavour at all, and way too salty. The pork chops smelled funny only took a couple of bites too much sugar in those pork chops did not taste very fresh. (dumped also) Very disappointed. I will not return there. I will find another frozen food store for my next purchase.
Best food and friendly place. My regular spot here.
This is the same place as meat express - which is unit 52 now. They sell marinated BBQ stuff, and frozen dimsums. I haven't tried the dim sums as of yet, but the BBQs are amazing. You got to try.
