I advise everyone to not step foot into this hospital. Go to any other hospital but don’t come to this one. The nurses and doctors are extremely rude. They are getting paid for there job and yet do not care about the patient at all. My mom has fractured her elbow and hurt her knee really bad. The day she had fractured it we took her to this hospital into the emergency room. The emergency room is meant to take in patients right away since it is an EMERGENCY but instead they made her wait for 1 hour until she was taken in to take X-rays. After the x-ray, she needed to go to the bathroom and the nurse was being very rude to her and not helping her even though she couldn’t walk because of her knee injury. After the X-ray they made her wait for 6 hours while her fractured elbow was in a lot of pain. They only put a sling around her and gave her pills that aren’t even helping. She had a follow up appointment and we thought the doctor would do something about the pain. In the report they state saying there is probably a fracture, meaning they don’t even know what the he’ll is wrong. The doctor was very rude and did not give right information at all. I mean your getting paid so at-least do your god damn job right. I would give this hospital a negative if I could. Worst hospital ever!

The staff in the emergency department were nice to me and very patient with my baby. However, this old male doctor wasn’t very patient with my one year old baby. When he used a tongue depressor on my baby, my baby puked because the doctor poked his throat. My baby had a high fever (40C) so he obviously was feeling very uncomfortable and not himself. The doctor didn’t handle it professionally and walked out on us. He also just left his dirty gloves and tongue depressor on the hospital bed which was very UNSANITARY. Mind you there was a HUGE garbage bin in the room which he could’ve easily dumped his dirty gloves and that tongue depressor he used on my baby. Very unprofessional.

I believe that there are wonderful doctors and nurses that work at this hospital. I have experienced some wonderful doctors and nurses at the hospital but only in the maternity ward. I understand that the ER is a very busy place, I also understand that the staff have a lot of responsibility and have to multitask. Every single time I have been to the emergency room I have had nothing but a horrible experience, even when I had to bring my 2 year old daughter there. The staff can be very rude and very dismissive. Doctors do not give enough information. My 2 year old dislocated her elbow, the doctor did not tell me what he was doing when he was putting it back in place. He did not even tell me my daughter had a dislocated elbow. I had to ask the nurse when she came in and said “you’re all good to go” good to go where? Because no one told me anything, I did not receive one piece of information from the doctor. I will not be going back to this hospital, even if I am in the most pain in my life. I will drive 20 minutes to another hospital if I have to, I will not step foot back into that hospital. As I said I know and believe there are wonderful doctors and nurses, they are just not in the ER.

I would grant zero stars if I could. I scheduled a Covid vaccine appointment in the website. I arrived on time and waited with the others. At the entrance to the clinic I was asked to present proof of employment in Scarborough. I was denied entry as I do not work in the area. Nowhere on the website nor in the application process was this geographic exclusion mentioned. I wasted my time and wasted a slot that could have been used by another. I have heard that because of these ridiculous inflexible limitations the clinic is now having difficulty finding eligible recipients and there are many openings in the schedule. Who is responsible for the poorly designed incompetent and opaque website and its deceptive questions? Do not waste your time at this hospital. There are better competent institutions in the GTA.

Stay away from this hospital like it's the plague. Especially if you have an Emergency and are in need of urgent care. I checked in with my kid with a possible concussion from a sports injury. Forget the hour and a half it took just to get triaged. That I understand. But it was the incompetence of one of their staff that was inexcusable. After checking into registration, the staff member told us to go wait in the \yellow\ area which we did. Three hours later I asked the receptionist at the main desk when we could expect to see a doctor. She seemed too busy on her computer to answer and said she didn't have any idea. Another hour later, another PATIENT saw me holding my kid's paperwork and told me we were supposed to put it in a bin so that we could be seen. She also said no one told her this also. I went to one or the doctors and asked if we could be put in line first as we had been waiting for four hours and wasn't told about the paperwork procedure by their staff. She said no. We left after 4 hours of waiting without seeing a doctor. Then, we were asked for 16 for parking. For zero service. If you have an emergency, your best bet is to steer clear of this hospital. I will never set foot into it ever again.
