Centered in the old town, the restaurant and Hotel are classical, cosy and absolutely worthwhile a visit. The food is excellent, the service the best, the speed of the kitchen nearly unbelievable. Great impression overall ! We enjoyed this very much and would recommend it for eating out or a break in the city anytime.

Loads of character and friendly, helpful staff. The lift/elevator will make you laugh...it must be 100 years old and has a capacity for two people. I stay in hotels over 200 nights per year, and this wins The award for the smallest room 2019. It was just about adequate, but I wouldn't want more than two nights in that particular room. The resteraunt Kronenstube is brilliant with quality food & good value wine.
A nice hotel in the heart of old town Schaffhausen. It's an older building so, although well maintained, does have a slightly older more "tired" feel. The staff are very attentive and helpful, including Kerim in the tapas bar and restaurant. The hotel has a small gym and very nice restaurant with excellent food (steaks, schnitzel, etc) and a decent wine list. The fact that the restaurant was busy on a Wednesday evening is a good indicator of quality. Definitely a recommended hotel for either business or leisure trips.
I can truly recommend this place. Restaurant is really nice, food is awesome, people really cute and professional. I had chance to have my little wedding in this hotel. They have beautiful rooms upstairs. Menager is such a cool guy, really professional. I was looking for a good place for my special day in Schaffhausen. I couldn't find better one. One of the best places in town.
My new favourite hotel on Schaffhausen. My room was very comfy, enough big and bright and I love the design. The pillow was perfect, first time in my life. Usually hotel pillows are too soft or too hard, too flat or too big for me. But now...it was just perfect. :) Bed was also very good. I saw Munot fortress from my window. The hotel is located in the city central, and the train station is in the nearby, approx. 5 minutes walk. The staff was very kind.
OX restaurant is where you find the BEST spare ribs ever! Amazing deco too!

Stayed for a week time. Pleasant environment, prompt service with out standing facilities. Enjoyed a lot.
