Nice family hotel with good decoration in the room and the bathroom. The service is good and professional. The bed quality is above average and the room is spacious. Nice reception at this time of these with plenty of pumpkins. The breakfast has wide variety of options with excellent service.

Very cozy hotel. We stayed for one night in a room with shared shower and toilet in the hallway with breakfast included for 55 euro. Very good price for a nice hotel. Staff was super friendly, breakfast was great. A lot of options and nice ones that is. Restaurant was open until 22, we ate a very tasty meal there in the evening. Friendly servers and I can't stress enough how good the food was. Beds in the room were comfortable and the room was sound isolated enough that you couldn't hear people walk in the hallway. Very nice experience, will come back if we ever go to the town again!
Great place to explore the Black Forest. Sensational breakfast, best we have had in 40 days travelling around Europe. Also rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The restaurant is definitely kid friendly. There is a big playground in the backyard and there is a playing corner inside. Kids menu and chairs for children are also available.
This summer (2011) I went to this hotel for the second time. Last time was in 2007. The food is great, I enjoyed the classic German Schintzel. About the rooms: I've never had such a glorious shower...it was godlike and, while showering, for a moment I actually believed I would never be able to leave it. Comfortable rooms with balconies. One point is that the duvets are VERY thick, I think they're meant for cold weather but the problem was, we were staying in midsummer. It was hot in there.
Nice, clean, simple comfy hotel, good location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, Good WiFi. This hotel is recommended for short stay. However, there were 2 negative points: first, we did not get the room we booked, and they did not offer any thing in return to make it up for us (i.e. Free upgrade or free complimentary drink). Second, the weather was hot and the room has no AC and no fridge. We were sweating during the night, and mosquitoes made it worse. In fact, we struggled to have a good sleep.
