I’ve switched doctors from being treated poorly by them within Ellis and you just keep getting insensitive, classist, judge-mental and unsafe doctors. None of these doctors care about you or your health. They don’t run appropriate testing, validate concerns, question the medical history you tell them and don’t believe you until they get the records (which is just..why?) they treat you like you’re drug seeking if you complain about anything when you’re not even asking for substances, you’re just trying to make sure you’re healthy. Their negligence could kill someone. Their attitudes hurt self esteem. It’s not a safe place to go. You should see a doctor who cares about you. You won’t find that here.

My rating is not for the practice. Instead it pertains to Dr. Michael Cunningham, my father's primary care physician. My dad, is in excruciating pain due to terminal cancer. He is in need of a hospital bed, for which we need a script. My brother, who is here from Texas, provides our father with 24/7 care. He has called and stopped at Dr. Cunningham's office numerous times since last week. The office staff is as helpful as they can be but we still haven't heard a word from D Cunningham. Our father deserves to live out what could be his final days in relative comfort but Dr. Cunningham doesn't seem to care about his elderly, gravely ill patient. I would not recommend Dr. Cunningham to anyone.

My mother is a patient here and I’ve come with her to several of her appointments. Every single time, we’ve waited over an hour past our appointment time to see a doctor. Even trying to schedule an appointment with a doctor, who is a resident and therefore constantly rotated out (little to no continuity of care), is problematic because the doctor’s schedule is always booked. Additionally, my mother’s pharmacy calls repeatedly for prescription refills and never receives a response. Some of their staff and doctors are very personable, and that’s why I’ve given a one-star rating. Otherwise, I would rate their office mismanagement as a zero. If you don’t have to come here, don’t. Find another doctor.
