Good service, really good food, portions a little small for the price...I think. Salsa was really good, had a bit of a bit (I'm a light weight), but had a really good flavor. Location is VERY small for "formal" seating, kind of a Mexican themed cafeteria feel to me. Area in back for group seating (long tables).

Best Mexican food. The food has fresh vegetables and best fresh cuts of meats. The Gorditas are to best in whole city. I highly recommend this place! Authentic Mexican flavor!
It’s easy to assume La Pasadita is closed - maybe even permanently. But when we approached the door, lo and behold, it opened. Rustic Mexican all the way. And when we saw the older Mexican ladies in the kitchen we expected great things (being Italian we’d expect the same if the kitchen of an Italian restaurant was filled with my aunts and grandmother!). The nachos, along with salsa to be a Mexican standard, were probably the best we’ve ever had. Freshly fried, thick, and crunchy. Almost substantial. The salsa had a hotness that creeps up on you, then lingers. Good for those who like spice. We decided to try the steak and shrimp fajitas with a side of a couple of chicken enchiladas (a favorite of ours). A one pound order of steak and shrimp fajitas was about 35 which we consider a little steep (approximately 10 more than average) compared to the many other Mexican places we’ve been to. With the sense of authenticity we were getting from the place, we thought the premium price was going to be worth it. Sadly, it was fairly average. We’ve had better fajitas. The shrimp were big but had a slightly soapy taste. The beef was a little overcooked and under seasoned. Overall, unspectacular. The chicken enchiladas were tasty but no better or worse than any others we’ve tried. There was a bit of a citrusy taste, probably from lime, which was different but not off-putting. I’d give La Pasadita an average rating with above average prices, which may be enough for you to consider other places ahead of it.
This is probably my favorite restaurant. Everything about it from the decor to the food is very comfortable. They also have an enclosed patio that is always climate controlled very well.
The best mexican food ever. Their chicken puffy tacos are to die for. The service is excellent. I eat there about once a week. It's the only REAL GOOD mexican restaurant I have found in or around SA.
I have rated this before, but just ate here again. BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN TEXAS!!! Margaritas are wine based and unreal!!!!
