***HIGHLY RECOMMEND!*** Mario is a genius and a true leader in his industry. One of the smartest people I’ve ever met and knows the industry like none other. We were originally referred to Mario by my brother and sister-in-law and from the first time meeting him, I knew we were in great hands. Mario has a way of explaining complicated topics like no one I’ve ever met and always made sure we understood; even if it took three or four times of me asking, “What does that mean again and how did that number get calculated?” :) He is also not your typical loan officer and I mean that in the best way possible. Is he a mad scientist with numbers? Yes. Does he know the ins-and-outs of the real estate industry? Yes. Does he have a solid network of industry professionals at his fingertips? Yes. However, where Mario is different, is that he truly understands and respects the value of the loan process and doesn’t just treat it as a job. It’s his passion. He genuinely cares. Mario treats it as if it was his own money he was working with; you don’t get that level of genuine care from just anyone. What also sets Mario apart from the rest and probably my most favorite part about him is his personality. He is so fun and has so many different dimensions that make him the stellar guy he is! Not only does he own his own mortgage company, the Triton Group at Legacy Mutual Mortgage, but he also has an established personal brand called, “Bald Guy With A Bow Tie”, focused on dreaming, inspiring, and loving one another with work, life, and family. Another fun fact: Mario is the lead singer of the San Antonio-based heavy metal band, Memory Of A Melody…how cool is that?! Mario is one-of-a-kind and a solid human being. We need more people in this world like Mario who has the brains, the class, and the heart. Mario is not just our loan officer, he is a good friend, and I have and always will recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Mario refused to even have a single Face-to-face appointment via Zoom, without all re-finance documentation in his hands. He stated that he and his team simply do not have the time to do appts without documents in hand. So basically, he was only available on the phone and his phone skills are less than subtle, as his bottomline and goals are far more important than the customers comfort with the process. He is cocky and could care less about what his customer is trying to accomplish....constantly insinuating that you’re not being up-front, by stating he is and certainly you are. A backhanded accusation of dishonesty, mind you, all this without ever having even met you. So my advice would be to move on, if you care about the big decision of refinancing your home and who you wish to charge with that responsibility. Mario does not care about you, he does not even have time to meet you, he cares about making fast money, period! No thank you.
