There are other hotels in the area that are just as good... but none of them have the atmosphere that this one has. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that may be looking to stay in the local area. Walking outside as the sun goes down and then meandering up the path towards the castle results in an exquisite view (see picture I uploaded). The cafe/bar portion of this hotel has fantastic food, including the free breakfast that is included with the price of your room every morning.

Such a cute place! Very rustic with a down-home feel. It was absolutely wonderful! I stayed during the off-season in late November, but it was a great experience. Staff was great, food was good, service was good... Definitely a wonderful place to stay! Downsides? They have 2 single beds instead of a queen, and during the day the bartender is the front desk clerk.... But otherwise it's a great place.
Very nice hotel. Bit tricky to get to though. Staff is friendly and speaks english. Rooms are clean and have all you need for a hotel stay. We only had breakfast, but that was very good as well.
Very peaceful and tranquil area. I came to just relax and that is what I did. Massage therapist was wonderful and professional and did 3 of them the 4 days I was there. Food quality was very average though and salad buffet not available but still offered on their menu. I can't fault them for that though given covid-19 conditions as they are probably doing the best they can in context with German law. Mojitos were very good congrats to the young lady who prepared mine. The spa is a fantastic touch as well and very appreciated. Will definitely be back as this was my second time there and I live in Belgium. Staff great also.
Family run. Ultra clean with friendly English speaking staff. Restaurant is exceptional and affordable. Right next to a nice castle and bike trails.
Beautiful hotel with a great setting overlook Landstuhl. Dinner was in a beautiful dining room with a central fire burning. Dinner was excellent German fare and breakfast a great spread of continental fare. Rooms not huge but well appointed and I had a nice private balcony
This restaurant is so good, it's hard to rate. We started with the salad bar, which really isn't even a salad bar, it's more if a antipasto bar, complete with grilled eggplant, grilled yellow and red bell peppers, sun dried tomatoes, and reduced balsamic vinegar. Next, because we were here during asparagus season (May 30th) there was a special asparagus menu, and I had the creamed asparagus soup, which was like silky magic with chives. There were 4 of us, 2 of us had schnitzel with mushrooms and brown gravy, one had steak medallions, and one had the asparagus, cheese, and ham dinner. All of the meals were splendedly prepared, seasoned, and hot, and perfectly cooked. My only regret is that we're only in town for one day, because I would go out of my way to come here again. Oh, yeah, did I mention that the restaurant is nestled into the side of a mountain directly beneath a 10th century castle? This is truly a fairy tale dining experience. If the weather permits, sit outside. Prost.
Great atmosphere with nice fire place.. Food did not impress me but the place is amazing. Just be careful driving at night to this place.. Its confusing and lots of curve.
