The best restaurant I've eaten at in the Kaiserslautern area. I've had many different dishes, from the Cordon Bleu to the rumpsteak and it has never once disappointed. Everything is cooked to perfection and is extremely flavorful. The cooking staff definitely knows what they are doing. The wait staff is very friendly and the location is great to sit back and relax. This place is a must try, you will not be disappointed!

A local treasure. Tucked away in the tiny village of Schmalenberg, this is by far my FAVORITE restaurant in Germany. Authentic and reasonably priced. Their steaks are to die for.

Ein Gasthaus das man bedenkenlos empfehlen kann !! in Coronazeiten ist der Gastraum nun leider geschlossen . Aber ......man kann viele Gerichte zum Abholen vorbestellen . Ich bestelle in der Regel das Tagesmenue . Die Portionen sind reichhaltig und frisch zubereitet. Mittwochs sogar mit Tagessuppe , Salat ,Hauptgericht und Nachspeise . Das Alles zum unschlagbaren Preis , wie man auf der Internetseite des Lokas sehen kann. Die Linde in Schmalenberg tut ihr Bestes um uns über diese traurige Zeit hinweg zu helfen .
