Great bakery and grab and go. I had their garden salad with the balsamic vinaigrette, and tomato and mozzarella sandwich on ciabatta bread. It was inexpensive and tasty.

We come to Schmerikon at least once year and for the past 12 years have been buying things from Tschirky every day (very nearly) that we are in Schmerikon. The food, bakery items, and confectionery has been outstanding every time. They have a little restaurant upstairs which is excellent and a few tables on the pavement that make a nice place for coffee. Well worth a stop with parking almost always available just outside - and if not, then in the train station parking lot across the road.
