I've known Neil Schmerling since 1979 when he first helped us with our taxes; He is knowledgeable,honest, very down to earth which makes it easy to tell him what is on your mind .I can't say enough only that your in good hands with Neil.I appreciate all of his efforts to insure my retirement funds did very well.

Schmerling FInancial helped set up a long-term financial plan for my Mother-in-Law many years ago. Now that she's retired and pulling from her retirement funds, she's on very solid footing, thanks largely to their careful planning. Though I'm sure she's not the largest of their clients, they continue to offer helpful advice to maintain her funds. We liked them so much, my wife and I discussed short-term & long-term financial strategies with them. They've also prepared our Federal, State and City Business taxes the last several years. I often felt out of my depth or intimidated when speaking with Financial Advisers in the past, but Neil is extremely knowledgeable, kind, non-judgmental, down-to-earth and practical when discussing our finances. Would highly recommend to anyone.
