This restaurant is absolutely charming and the food was well prepared and presented. It's very small and intimate (4 or 5 shared tables). It felt like a large family gathering during the meal with the host and diners speaking freely to each other while my dining companion and I smiled and nodded. I gathered that the restaurant has maintained the same setting (decor, furniture, etc.) for many years.

Unfortunately I am totally disappointed with this place. The food was nothing special and too oily but the biggest disappointment was the service. The waitress was smoking what in my opinion is not excaptable when serving food and when we've asked to pack one dish, we've got the package and were told to pack it ourselves.. is that how they imagine good and friendly service? I will not go there again.
Sehr sehr gutes schwäbisches Essen. Ohne Tamtam auf den Punkt genau das, was schwäbische Küche ausmacht. Uriges Stüble mit sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre. Preise sind sehr in Ordnung.

Hammer! Ein echter Geheimtipp in Schorndorf. Alles war erste Sahne. Habe noch nie so gut gegessen. Bedienung war freundlich und wie bereits gesagt das Essen ist Weltklasse. Ich werde auf jedefall wieder hin gehen. Größere Gruppen unbedingt vorher anrufen! ---- Ist der Beitrag für Sie Hilfsreich würde ich mich über ein Like freuen.
