I can’t think of a better sight after waking 2 miles in the woods (after 5 miles of waking in the woods earlier) from castle Neuschwanstein! Cold beer! Decent german food! Ok prices. Pretty much an oasis in the woods. Very friendly service. Last bus back to the Neuschwanstein parking lot is 5:30pm. Was 50% filled at 4pm (when we arrived), was 90% empty when we left at 5:30pm.

I'm really not sure how many stars should I give... The Apftelstrudel was really, really good and the staff very friendly but at 3pm there was (almost) no food left. Just Salmon, Strudel and beer. Better call and ask if there's anything left if you plan to arrive there hungry ;)
