Very central, clean and comfortable. Friendly personnel. Only missing thing was a fan. Many Germans hotel have not yet adjusted to the new warmer north European weather especially during the summer.
Parking arrangements difficult to figure out. Somewhat outdated premises. Small rooms. Very reserved staff. But excellent breakfast.
Shwhat are you thinking elefant hotel shwiren. Shwere to begin.... the bath was amazing whilst inside of it. But the aftermath... we had 2 visits from the poltergeist I have chosen to call sphen. Sphen enjoyed bubbles in this bath, and twice they turned on without human interaction (probably faulty wiring) then the lights went on, and off, on, and off repeatedly for about 2 minutes. Meanwhile the bubbles where going. When I went to Find a member of staff to find support I can only assume sphen had them as there was nobody!. Beautiful view though, If sphen calms down I will come back.
For the second time we have used Hotel Elefant's Silvesterparty (New Years Eve). We arrived 2 days before the party, enjoyed the hotels good breakfasst buffet and dined in the cosy restaurant. Everything to our satisfaction. A few minor details in the room was fixed immediately (light in the bath room did not work the second day) and the bed I felt was to soft for my back, was fixed upon reguest, (no discussion and no hesitation from the staff). The party was magnificent as usual and it really is as they advertice:"All inclusive". An astonishing buffet of fish specialities, different meat dishes, casseroles, steaks and roasts and a variety of deserts, cheeses and fruit. And of course champagne at the beginning of the new Year. Music all the evening and night, combined with different solists. Everything very good and served with a smile. Good hotel, good quality and a very serviceminded and friendly staff.
