I have been here three time. Winter, summer and autumn. It's an amazing place. The land scape changes with the weather, so it's never the same twice. Summer season is very busy with tourists for the boats and lake, however off season is quieter and great for hiking and exploring. Food and restaurants can be a bit pricey, however if you explore near by villages you can find some great places at better prices.

Good experiences on the terrace. Very good and fiendly service. The waiter who helps us despite the crowds was friendly and helpful. also nothing was forced when we first wanted to drink something without ordering food. Due to the good location and his way of service, we decided to eat here too and that was very good :P halfway through the dinner there appeared to be rain and he offered to take place under a roof. highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights. The location is unbeatable, just beside the lake and it's only one second's walking to the boat ticket office and the pier. The staff there were quite helpful and hospitable.

Perfect location and decent breakfast but the hotel room was very old and worn

Did not stay in the hotel but the restaurant is very good. Was a perfect German meal for us. And service was good. The Jager sauce may be some of the best ever. I got it on the side with traditional Vienna style pork.
