This is the real IMAX deal - enormous screen and (for the 45 minute specials at least) it's a real analogue IMAX projector! So you can actually hear the projector rolling and the image quality is fantastic - we went to the Bradford IMAX recently and despite the Bradford screen actually being smaller than this one, you could see the individual pixels that made up the image as they were using a digital projector. But no pixels with an analogue projector so (in my opinion) a better, more realistic image. 3D effect works great because the screen is so large, although the safety rail at the bottom of the auditorium does get in the way a little. Great experience, really enjoyed it!
Over 20 minutes of adverts for a 45 minute film (with 4 year old twins and a 6 year old) was unacceptable, it made the whole show too long and we had to leave before the end. Pity as it ruined what would have otherwise been a good experience.
Good experience, nice facility, perfect place for family watching.
Dont bother. Impossible to find and support line is closed. No one around in the area to help you find the cinema.
