The product was outstanding. Installation was seamless and made to fit perfectly. I ordered two screen doors and was very satisfied. The workmanship mirrored the selection pictures perfectly. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting high quality screen doors. These are not screen doors you buy at the hardware store so plan on paying a little more.

We consulted First Impressions to fabricate a screen for complicated patio doors, and a knowledgeable salesman called at the house, made an estimate on the spot and took measurements when we accepted. The price was high but the alternative was replacing the doors, and we were impressed with the specs he gave us. The delay was very long but that is true in all the trades right now. In the end, we will be forced to replace these doors, whose relatively simple problem is one no one can or will repair. FI was very gracious about cancelling our contract and we were left with a great impression of the outfit.

BUYER BEWARE: they only care about making the door and don't care about destroying your wall in the process. While installation should involve an inquiry into the correct size and weight, they do not take the time. All they care is about selling you the door or gate and nothing else. Also, their customer service is poor, including being condescending, rude, and not listening (for instance I asked for a workman to show up on a certain day and customer service operated like I had said nothing). Picture is of the second faulty lock they installed for me.

First Impression Ironworks has lived up to its name as our first as well as last impression is very positive. Shawn was top-notch when she came to give us product information and a quote. She wore a mask, respected social distancing and was prepared with samples and color choices. Her follow-up was prompt and she respected our time frame to collect other bids. Hands down, First Impression was superior to the other companies we researched. The iron security front door was delivered and installed on time. The 2-man crew was courteous and informative, helping in orienting us to our new door. Overall, the product was better than we expected and enhances the appearance of the entryway. Great experience from the sales process through to the installation. Every one I talked to has been very responsive and attentive. The door is stunning, I am very pleased. It changes my entry both from the outside and the inside (way more light, obvious now, but very pleasant surprise). I have 2 more doors to do. FI will do them.
