Perfect for a local move!
I highly do not recommend using U-Haul for your move. I moved from Wisconsin to Arizona summer of 2019. From the very beginning, she had trouble scanning my third you U-Box in on her computer. It was not until I arrived in Arizona that I learned that that third you U-Box ended up not even being in my name. And according to their records it was in North Dakota under someone else’s name and credit card. They did finally verify it was shipped with my other two boxes however. Then, during delivery, Two months after holding them, I was supposed to have them scheduled to deliver Monday. They never arrived in the window they said they would be delivered in, despite waiting for the entire 4 hour window outside. Then nobody knew where they were, because of course nobody ever contacted me about the delivery and So I was calling into the general U-Haul number every time and getting someone brand new to speak with. Turns out one U-Haul location in Arizona drove 10 miles down the road to drop them at another U-Haul location, because my address was outside of their delivery zone. Mind you, all these places are within 20 miles of each other. My U-Boxes had apparently been taken to the U-Box warehouse and been buried and could not be delivered until Wednesday. So I’m sitting for three days, out of state, with absolutely none of my personal items, sleeping on the floor with a blanket and pillow I picked up from Walmart. Find someone else to manage your move.
Friendly staff, and they accidentally didn't charge us for the furniture dolly so that might be a plus or a minus depending on how you look at it
