What an excellent experience! Delicious wines. Our red flight was fantastic. Toasted the day with their sparkling wine. Couldn't have been happier. COVID protocol well flowed. I felt comfortable and was able to enjoy really top notch wines.

We had a great time wine tasting here. The wines we tasted were so good and the staff helping us, Caroline and Lilly, were amazing, sweet and very informative. We will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Carmel.

Loved the intimate setting. My husband and I did the wine tasting. It was a good experience. Our favorite was the first pinot - we weren’t crazy about the others. Friendly staff. Female owned and operated. You need to make a reservation since they are operating with only 3 tables during Covid. Appreciated the cute little outdoor setup.

Didn't try a lot of wine tasting rooms, but went here thanks to a recommendation from our consierge. The wine was really unique. Also, first time I've ever been tempted to join a wine club, and I've done my fair share of tastings. Was very impressed. Left wanting to buy 4/6 of the wines tasted. Not to mention the impressive art gallery. Loved walking around. Great staff. Definitely stop by here if you want something different and delicious. I can't wait to return

Another place that marked open when closed. Have some respect to customers!

Yesterday, my two retired racing greyhounds & I spent the best 2 hours tasting wine and talking about adopting retired racing greyhounds at the Scratch Wines tasting room in Carmel. Lily was behind the bar pouring & in front of the bar loving on the furboys. The wines were great too. The owner & head winemaker is apparently an overachiever who also makes wine for Wrath and for Kori locally. My hat is off to her! I need to try the other two wineries now. While I greatly prefer reds over whites, Scratch has a couple very good whites they're pouring right now. A sparkling Chardonnay and a very nice Riesling, plus a drinkable rose (I struggle with roses). The Scratch 2014 Pinot Noir is the bomb, and their 2015 Grenache and 2016 Cab will be excellent with a year or two of aging. I only wish the art gallery was open when we visited. I guess that means I'll have to return. ;-) PS - the label art chosen for Scratch is pretty fantastic too!

High-pressure push for caviar that the wine tasting room sells. There was no revisiting of wines to help with our decision on what to purchase. No industry discounts. The same winemaker is at Wrath. Visit that tasting room. Much friendlier staff and no shorting of pours. The young woman working needs to refine her customer service skills as she mostly talked about herself during the entire tasting and we had no time to relax and talk to each other. Purchased the sparkling wine, but unfortunately will not return or recommend as wine tasting rooms are prevalent in Carmel and there are much better around.
