Shocking. Ordered a van they said need to come in and book.... So drove 20plus miles for it to be close at 12,30 due to covid and they didn't think to tell us on the phone. Rang next day and they said no vans available. What a good service we received never again!!

Terrible service from these guys, promised they’d have a van for me at a set time. Arrived for them to tell me someone else had took it, and can’t give me another of similar size as there transit customs and not for renting to individuals incase get nicked. Very trusting!! Then wanted to charge me triple the deposit because I’m from hull not Scunthorpe, then wanted to keep my driving licence and my partners even tho she was driving, had just given me a lift there. I told them there not allowed to keep them, they insisted they could and would or couldn’t rent the van. So I called the police who proved them wrong and made them hand them back. So had to take a smaller van which meant I had to do 2 trips and back to Sheffield, which occurred a charge for mileage. Worst experience I’ve ever had renting a vehicle and made to feel like a criminal and not trusted just for been from Hull, even though I’ve rented from the Hull depot twice before which has been great. So maybe the staff need sacking, but what more do you expect from Scunthorpe? These are the two with attitude in photo attached, and also the manager in the office who would show his face.
This as it says which very ready. They are a no nonsense professional staff. I highly recommend this depot. More competitively priced than Enterprise.
Don't rent it from here if you are a foreigner. EU driving licenses are not accepted although the DVLA and my insurance let me drive on it. I was even being told that I've lied last time i've rented with them because apparently if i was living in the for less than 2 year i could rent a car from them..
Hired a boxer van at short notice and everything went perfect. Polite & helpful reception & garage staff.. Would recommend.
