Was very honest in their assessment of the Subaru engine repairs needed and the cost vs. gain balance. They gave us a good explination of the issues and did not pressure us to have any of the services performed. Even emailed a great link to a site that had step by step explanation of one of the proposed repairs. Very affordable rate for the diagnostic work performed.

Shawn and the team at Swedish are thorough, courteous, keep me up to date during repairs and NEVER make me feel dumb about the little I know about cars. We normally do all our work on our Subaru there. Recently, I had an issue and my insurance company made me go to another national repair company first. It wasn't properly repaired there, so I took it to Swedish who had to clean up the mess the other company left. Swedish shared pictures and explanations with me along the way and fixed the issue AND cleaned up the wiring mess from the other repair shop. Will take our cars to Swedish forever! Plus... Chinook!!

European Auto Repair treated me right, and as far as I can tell they treated my Subaru right, too. We live a few blocks away, and when we'd walk past the shop I was always impressed with how clean and neat everything looked inside. They initially thought that both my front and rear brakes needed replacing, but after getting things opened up, it turns out only the front needed replacing. It's always a good sign when a shop tells you that they need to do less work than they initially thought. Honesty is sadly not the norm in auto shops. I'm happy to have a great shop that is within walking distance to our house. They are perhaps a bit on the more expensive side, but for the super friendly service, honesty, and (what seems to be) top quality work I'd say it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

I should have come to these guys earlier! I had a break light out and just swung by a few minutes before closing. They pulled the panel and popped in a new bulb in about 5 minutes and I was on my way. I asked them what owed them and they just said to remind them to charge me for a bulb the next time I come in. Will do!
