The grandfather clock in my office was chiming out of sequence. I called David, the owner, hopeful that he could come fix it. However, he's not doing house calls due to COVID risk for now. Instead, he generously and patiently walked me through the steps of resetting the chimes myself. After only ten minutes of listening carefully and following his clear instructions, I was elated when the clock actually started to chime the correct number of times on que. David graciously offered his help for free because he couldn't do it himself in person, but he knew how important it was to fix. I'm looking forward to bringing in a few watches for repair, as he was pleasant to work with and clearly knows is trade. I highly recommend Lake City Watch Repair.

I've dealt with David several times over the years. He is invariably polite, friendly and patient with questions. The important thing though, is he's really good at his craft. The last project was the repair of a WWII era Chelsea ship's clock. The cost of the repair was very reasonable and the clock is back on the wall keeping perfect time. Battery change or complete restoration, David is the guy.
Small shop, with a friendly shop owner that clearly prioritizes customer service and quality. The owner quickly assessed my dad’s watch issue as a dead battery and replaced within minutes. Reasonable price of 29 with tax. Only cash and check here! Will definitely be going back with potential future watch issues.
I brought my favorite bracelet and necklace to Lake City Watch Repair. He was efficient, friendly, and got the job done fast. The quality is perfect and I couldn't be happier. Will definitly come back again!
Brought my Skagen watch and a pair of pearl earrings here for repair twice. The first time, though the shop was supposed to be open (based on the operating hours on the door and online), it was closed and I wasn't comfortable enough to entrust my stuff to the travel agency people next door. So I called the following day to make sure the shop was open before I drove to the place. Fortunately the owner answered thephone and confirmed that he'll be around that day. Takeaway: call ahead and confirm if open. The Skagen unfortunately being a decade old model has been discontinued and unrepairable. The pearl earring had to be glued back together which the owner promptly worked on and asked me to return after an hour to retrieve it. He charged me 10 plus tax for the service which I found to be very cheap. So overall, despite having to come back the next day, and being told my watch was hopeless, I had the best service experience from the shop and highly recommend it to others. Just call ahead to confirm that tje shop is open!
