They are nice, but their customer service team is so poorly trained and confused, with each one giving conflicting information. The deliver and pick up of the POD was well done on the loading end. They are flexible with schedule changes. BUT 1. The originator never explained to us how limited their delivery service was in the state we were interested in moving to, so we had to pay a moving company to pick up the contents, an unexpected blow to our budget. If they had told us upfront, we would have shopped around before choosing Pods.2. When I called to schedule the access at the warehouse for our moving company, they clearly and very cheerfully surprised my by saying you dont have to be there, just give your moving company the key. ( Its a 3-hour drive each way.) But when I called a second time to reschedule because of delayed closing on our house, the next customer service rep said I did have to be there to show my ID, absolutely!!! What?! How can 2 different customer service give such conflicting information? This could have been another very expensive fiasco. I would not recommend this company to a friend.

Okay, so Pods itself is fantastic, it’s convenient and easy. Our issue was the person who helped us over the phone when we called. We called, ordered the POD last week had it delivered Monday and picked up today. Few things were wrong such as our address (you know the one they need to drop off your POD), our email address was somehow wrong, and then there was the weight ticket, we are military, the guy who we spoke with on the phone asked us if we were military because we would need that weight ticket. We told him yes and yes we do need that. When we had our stuff picked up today the driver today noticed that no weight ticket was ever put in (they weigh the container empty, drop off you load it they pick it up get it weighed give you the ticket so you can then submit it to whoever needs it from there so you get paid for moving) so we had to call and pay an extra fee for it. All of our issues were resolved in a timely, friendly, helpful manner they were just little hiccups that were caught soon enough to keep things from going badly.

Terrible customer service. I booked my POD to be delivered 3 months in advance, only to not receive one when I expected to. Upon calling I was put on hold for several minutes and then passed off to customer service representatives who hung up on me, told me it’s not their problem, and in the end could not fix THEIR mistake that made my perfectly planned move an absolute nightmare. They booked my pod to be delivered to my old house long after I was due to be out of it. With no explanation or apologies, and refused to correct their error. I have yet to see if I get charged. Very unhappy, would NEVER recommend this service or company.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Warning!!! Do not work with this people under any circumstances. Update: they charged me 400 for a service they did not even do after I spoke to a corporate official that promised to reverse the charge. On top of that I got a collection notice for 75 from PODS for who knows what. Keep in mind, they dropped a POD at my old house then never picked it up to send it to the house I moved to. I had to unload everything from the POD they did not pick up and rent a truck. To move it myself. They still charged me. Working with PODS was my biggest regret of 2020. Passionately dislike this company. If you are thinking about using them... don't. They respond to reviews with bots but do not actually address concerns. I have spent hours on the phone and have sent over 20 emails. One person called me back from Florida and promised to make it right.... that never happened. In fact, they charged me more and sent 75 dollars to collections 2 months after my botched order.
