Fantastic Wet Dry Tilapia! Perfectly cooked, lightly seasoned, and comes with an amazing super spicy sauce! The Goat curry was hearty and delicious (similar in taste to Carne Asada). The greens are all very tasty and flavorful, especially the Terere. Pleasantly surprised at how good and well prepared the Matoke was as well. Overall, great value. Unfortunately, minus a star for the unpleasant experience we had when picking up our order (almost waiting 20 minutes or so). The gentlemen at the register completely ignored us, took someone else’s order, then asked another customer that came in behind us to try and order before us because she had been there earlier (even though she refused repeatedly). Not sure why we were discriminated against but it was totally unexpected and uncalled for. We did not receive this type of ill treatment from the ladies that were working there a few week ago when we stopped in to check out their menu.

This is my favourite restaurant in Seattle. Everything is ridiculously delicious, and folks here are really fun and kind. Pro tip for whenever we're able to dine in again: call ahead your order before arriving to dine, because the food takes a while! (But worth the wait if you forget to call ahead)

THE NEW STAFF NEEDS TO GO!!!!! Her attitude made me instantly want to leave.. she’s rude and sarcastic.. I’ll be back when she’s gone!!! This place has Amazing food and the people that own this restaurant are kind and loving.

I had a side of black bean soup, cooked greens, and a type of flatbread. It was so tasty and filling! There’s a condiment that came with it; it tastes like carrot, ginger, lemon, and cayenne. I don’t know what it’s called, but the flavor is unforgettable. Wish I had taken a photo to show how vibrant it was. It was quite a hearty meal. I hope to come back!

I totally enjoyed the food and I liked that there was free parking available. The ambience offered customers the opportunity to experience a bit of East Africa. Food was affordable and the server was courteous. I recommend this restaurant if you are considering trying out Kenyan food. Good for dates or group dinners.
