I always hope and pray for a makeup artist that can communicate well, and really try and be on the same page vision-wise, as the photographer, and who has an incredible skill to then be able to line lips and eyes perfectly, with a good balance of highlights and color, and I am extremely impressed with the fact that makeup artist Lerushka, were able to do that so well at a recent shoot together at my studio in Pretoria. As a photographer, I do know that I have many clients' image in my hands, but the actual "man" behind the curtain, is the makeup artist who gives my work wings, and Lerushka was able to be that person, so I'm grateful to have met her and worked with her, she is talented and skilled, and really great at working with the photographer for a great product and end-result.
