Camp ground was full the first day of the fair. Camp sites were irregular and campers weirdly parked blocking other sites. Power and sewer were nice. Bathrooms had toilet paper and were cleaned mostly. But the paint was old and moldy. Other than mass golf cart traffic the noise level was mild. The dust was coated and not terrible. There was a storm one night and the announcements were efficient and storm shelters open for safety. I enjoy camping at the fair. I wanted to give a real review.

Big lots. Not much shade. Nice grassy lots. 25/nightly for full hookups.

This has been an excellent place to camp when we go to Sedalia to visit family, but lately, tent campers have taken it over. Clothes lines stretched out, piles of bicycles, pallets leaning against trees, trash all around. Fighting, yelling and police coming by to calm them down. What a mess.

If you're going to the State Fair you've got to camp there at least once. Campground is next to the State Fairgrounds with direct access through a tunnel. Also the Katy Trail runs alongside it if you want to bring a bike. Bathroom/shower facilities can use some updating. And stall doors. Stall doors would be awesome.

Great place to stay. Lots to see around the area. Only - is your rig will get stuck if its had lots of rain. Good hookup and Restrooms. We haven't found the laundrymat yet.
