I'm a retired physician, and my father was an optometrist. So it is from that perspective that I submit this review. Dr. Hicks is an excellent optometrist, and a professional who is genuinely concerned about the welfare of his patients. The office is well managed, and the staff seem to work well as a team. I"m pleased to have found an optometrist in North Port who I trust.

Had a great experience. I was a walk in with broken glasses. They quickly fixed my glasses. Very clean and friendly environment. I appreciate their help so much. My dad has only good things to say about Sunshine Optical also.

I had some health complications that resulted in a potential problem with my eyes. I called SeePort Optometry and they told me to come in asap even though I was not a patient at their clinic. I was treated with nothing but kindness and respect and all the staff from the front desk, assistants and Dr. Hicks were very professional and caring. They were also very thorough. I would recommend them to anyone needing an eye doctor. Thank you for being a bright light in this very scary time.

Fantastic service from friendly staff. Needed my RayBan Chromance lenses replaced and was able to have the replacement lenses put in. The service took less than ten minutes. Would very much refer any of my friends and family to use SeePort Optometry.

I don’t know how anyone could write a bad review/experience about this place. From Kyle to Tariq at the front, to the lady that helped (can’t remember her name), to the Doctor. Everything was great. I work on a fishing boat and my glasses fell in the water. They didn’t have an appointment, but the lady at the front made sure I got in that same exact day whether they were busy or not. The Doctor made absolutely sure I did not leave without a new pair. They made them there quickly, and sent me on my way. I asked a million questions and they made sure to answer every single one, or go out of their way to get me an answer. They don’t try to sell you anything, and that’s exactly why I spent extra money on prescription sunglasses. They game me the time to pick the right pairs of glasses without pressuring me into the most expensive best of the best thing to get. They will have my families business in the future. They are fantastic! I highly recommend them.

Staff very professional and the doctor very personable even though he had a Darth Vader mask on the the whole time. Not use to going to doctor and every one geared up with a surgical mask. I highly recommend these guys

Seaport optometry is the greatest place to go for your eye care needs! Dr. Hicks does an amazing and thorough eye exam and his team assisted me with the right choice glasses! I’d never go anywhere else!!!

Dr. Hicks and his staff are outstanding. They were very accommodating towards myself and my 7 month old. Dr. Hicks took his time with my son and made sure all of my questions were answered. His receptionist actually filled out my paperwork for me since I had my son in my arms. His eye tech helped fit my son with his new glasses and really spent the time ensuring they worked well. Overall our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Dr. Hicks and his staff are an asset to the North Port Community.
