Karla is AMAZING with brows! She was SO meticulous, and she was very careful to make sure she got it perfect. I can't wait to try her other services. And Kaycee was so great with my hair! She explained everything she was doing and was great about making what I wanted a reality. It only took me 2 years, but I FINALLY found my salon!

Hair was supppperrr long. Just got back from a year long deployment where I didn’t cut it at all and so I really needed this. Got an appointment with Asia and gave her some pictures of the type of style I was looking for and what kind of color I wanted for my balayage and she worked her magic. Cut off about 8 inches of hair and I am very happy with the result! Hair feels so much lighter (obviously) and much healthier!

Had my appointment with Asia and she was absolutely the best! She turned my long boring brown hair into a beautiful purple ombré! Just what I wanted! The salon is very comfortable and everyone is so nice! I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely come back to keep my purple vibrant!

Went in on Monday with very high expectations as I thought this salon won Best in City- I’m not sure if it was just a big miscommunication but I asked a stylist who specializes in blondes to update my overgrown balayage and give me some bangs that I could push to either side or split down the middle. She unfortunately did not ask my preference for length and I now have very tiny, thin, uneven bangs straight across my forehead. I made it 20 feet to my car when I looked in the mirror and noticed how bad my hair actually was. I’ve been upset all week and when I reached out to Ángeles the only thing she offered was to recut my bangs and stated “they don’t give refunds”. I understand the impact Covid has had financially on everyone but I also received color AND paid 172 and am stuck with a very bad haircut. At this point a partial refund wouldn’t do anything to fix the situation and recutting them is not going to make me look any more presentable. The photos attached are from right after receiving service and then going home to try and style it on my own. EDIT: Thank you for responding to me review. Unfortunately a “tip” or “trick” isn’t going to fix the situation. I didn’t want to be rude to Ángeles that’s why I immediately left and messaged her privately but so please don’t mistake that for being happy with what she did to my hair. At this point the color has even completely faded out and my bangs are still choppy and unmanageable. It was a bad job, plain and simple.

I have been having them do my hair ever since a friend recommended him to me about 2 years ago. And now my husband, son, and daughter also come here as well. Really, everybody here is fantastic. You can really see the pride of ownership in the work that everyone here does. I would recommend all the stylists and technicians here to anyone.

I had an incredible experience at this salon. I had last been to an incredibly expensive New York City salon, and I can honestly say my experience at the Selah Salon & Spa was better for under HALF of the price. I had Asia as my stylist and she was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she friendly, knowledgeable, and personable, she helped me go from the partly blonde I started with (from the first salon) to a full ash blonde with babylights and a smudge at my roots. She even noticed a discrepancy in my haircut from my previous salon and fixed it for me. I was blown away by the quality of what I got and nearly teared up when she showed me at the end. This is everything I was hoping for from my experience in NYC so I was incredibly happy this time around. I thoroughly recommend not only Asia but this location in general! They also proved they are also working hard to keep up high health standards during COVID, so you will definitely have a safe and professional experience. Thank you so much, Selah Salon & Spa!
