Great place for a countryside walk without getting off the beaten track... Ideal for families with young kids and as it's patched the whole route is accessible to buggies and wheelchairs

Lovely place for an hours walk with kids. Pushchair friendly and plenty of lovely scenery and trees for kids to climb on.

Lovely place, carpark often full. Great for a dog walk and great for kids.

Nice place for a walk if you only have 40 - 60 mins available. There is a ciruclar footpath around the outside of the site which is well made and pleasant, but there are also pathways that are worth exploring within the centre of the site. Don't bother trying to see the reservoir that is at the top of the hill, as it is fenced off to the public, but don't let that stop you from climbing to the top to see the views.
