Just come back home after a four night break at Mackinder Farm lodges. We stayed in Kingfisher lodge. The Lodge is set in the lovely countryside.and it's very dog friendly. With super dogs walks leading from the Lodges. The Lodge was cosy and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the Hot Tub was fantastic.and checked on a regular basis James the owner was very nice and helpful if you needed him.and did not encroach on your privacy. We will definatley returning. Peace. Quite and lots of Wildlife.

Have just come back from a girls weekend stay in the cottage. This was a fantastic stay, James totally accommodate us, he was friendly, helpful and definitely went over and above for us. The cottage was spacious, clean and had everything a group of 6 girls would want. The hot tub was fab, we will definitely be using the cottages again. Thank you for a great experience James

Excellent accommodation for a short break. Clean and warm, with a brilliant hot tub! Well spaced log cabins give you privacy from other holiday makers, and park your car right outside. A very friendly owner who is available if you need him, but leaves you alone to do your own thing. Situated in the countryside with easy access by car to Leeds and York. Walks close by if you prefer, and the owner even left an ordnance survey map to borrow! My family of six stayed over Christmas, and had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend .

Beautiful setting for a lovely relaxing family holiday. The lodges are clean, spacious and well equipped for a great family holiday. The hot tub was an absolute bonus and provided great evening entertainment. A perfect base for exploring more of York and the surrounding areas. Highly recommeded and we hope to visit again soon. Thank you!
