While I did like the DR that I was seeing; the office policies are backwards. During covid they still make it mandatory to come into the office to just get blood results risking the patients safety for no reason. Several years ago I had a high deducible because I was on cobra insurance. I have a balance owed to the office. Ever time I visit they make it a point to bring up the balance several times before I can go back to see the doctor. This time they mentioned my balance went up because of an Ultrasound they did on my abdomen last month.... But why, I don't have a deductible now... Was the service not covered or not medically necessary .. The girl doing the procedure seemed surprised it was even ordered.. It was an inconvenience for me to even have to go and now they want to bill be more. If I knew there was a cost I would have turned down the procedure. Save yourself some time and headache and seek a different medical provider.

Updated review based on recent visit. Front desk look and feel (structural) changed. But still gets hard time passing the front desk (people). Doctors are good. Listened patiently. Just fix the front desks attitude (no change till date) everything else will be good. Expect good amount of waiting time. It takes long time from the appointment time. Watch out for the annual physical section. They love doing physical and sent bill.
I went for an annual physical and follow up, both times the wait exceeded and hour. I was willing to put up with the wait because I thought the doctor was decent. Last time I went, I made my appointment on Zocdoc because I was having severe back pain and the office wasn't open yet. When I got there I was told by the receptionist that I didn't have an appointment. I showed her that it was confirmed on Zocdoc and that they had sent a confirmation text. They said that was only for new patients (there was nothing stating that on Zocdoc or in the office) but that they could fit me in. Then they claimed that they called my insurance company and could not verify that I was covered, mind you, it was the same plan that they billed the first two times. They simply recommended that I go to the emergency room. When I called up my insurance myself they verified that I was indeed listed as belonging to the plan and that there was no note that they had been contacted by anyone trying to verify my benefits. I have no time for office staff that lies or doesn't know how to deal with insurance companies.
The front desk has no clue what they are doing, period! It’s completely chaotic and unorganised. They won’t update the patient’s account and try to overcharge you. Watch out for the invoices that they’ll send you for unpaid bills, and cross-reference that with your payment receipts.
I've been going to the Selden location for a few years now. Aside from the great care I've been getting from Dr. Raina, everyone at the office has been friendly and helpful. Once, I need to bring my toddler with me because no one was available to watch him. The staff made the visit an adventure for him and now he looks forward to coming with me. Now, I don't even bother trying to find someone to watch him. He enjoys coming with me, so I take him every time!
