Three small things can make this place better. 1. Cabbage 2. Better seating 3. More friendly staff Besides that this is absolutely the best tasting authentic Mexican food in town. Highly recommend, carnitas tacos smack! The absolute best salsa. Definitely a family favorite

I had the lunch special. Because it's Lent, I decided to try the Chile Relleno. I judge a restaurant by their rice...Alfonso's didn't have any flavor, and the rice wasn't fluffy. The beans were runny, not like the kind I'm used to making. But, I guess when you're selling for the masses, quality doesn't matter. What I really liked was the nopal salad. This was good, except for the chiles japones that I took out. This is my first time, but I will come back and try a burrito. The Chile Relleno was stuffed with a cheese that could have been melted a little more, too firm. Although, maybe that's how this place makes them, al gusto de ellos. Gracias. They do give you plenty of tortillas.

Its been way long time had came out here but the chilli verde with the rice and beans are the best combination! Very spicy hot but it's worth the beat to eat. Soon planning to wanna drop by and try this out soon
