If you want to experience the ancient history of 1st century onwards then you must visit here. Every inch of this place has a story to speak, on how the people did thier shopping and how they moved from one place to other. This is the places to get your profile picture and cover photos for all social media. Pros: Everything here is amazing. Cons : couldn't find one yet. Though you need a car to get there as it's almost 80km from city center.

Marvel of Greek architecture can be seen here. From theater to roads all of them are amazing. You can come here and relax also. The scene is amazingly welcoming. But keep one thing in mind that not everything is in here. For example the Temple of Artemis is not here you have to go up the hill. And if you have not visited that place then you Turkish tour will be amount to nothing. The history is embedded in every single stone in here. For delight you can find many cats in this place. And be afraid they are all very friendly and can get you a nice picture. And you can have the ice cream delight just outside the gate. It is really fun . Ok the food here is costly and the ticket is 60 TL and if you are a student and have an ID card stating so then you can get in by paying 30 TL so better bring your ID's. And if you don't have a guide better read about the place. Because only when you read about it you will get the feel and enjoy it to the fullest. And to go around you need at least 3 hrs so don't rush. Take your time and enjoy.
It's important from the historical point of view but the site itself is nothing special. These are ruins you can see everywhere in Europe or the Balkans. Main sights are not original but rebuilt (restored) so they look like Disneyland. The entrance is way overpriced (13 Eur. basic ticket 5 Eur. audio guide). The informational boards around the site are extremely poor and superficial and only in English and (strangely) German. Some places such as the library have only Turkish and German. Absolutely not recommended.
A surreal place to visit. The acoustics were incredible- if you’re lucky someone will take the stage during your visit so you can get the full effect! With 66,000 seats it’s incredible to see such an old, large theatre.
Wonderful ancient marvel. It’s a lot to describe in this review about the history involved in this old city that started like 10 century BC ago. The thing is I recommend to visit if you go to Turkey I am talking about the whole place not only the theater.ruins of the temple of Artemisia and many more interesting places.
Great history, few ancient civilization build here a megalopolis. A place for great emperor's, Art's, architecture and religions. Even today after few thousand years is impressive. Also you can hear language's from all continent's from visitors. A place to see to understand human civilization.
Fantastic world heritage site. Entrance in to here allows fro access to number significant historical sites. Except for the preserved houses mosaics in the enclosed builind. Totally worth tge extra 35 lira for shade and experienced. Be warned it gets sweaty tge site is very exposed and gets very hot. Totally worth it though
Beyond imaginations and expectations. Ancient Theater of Ephesus is one of the most important and biggest building in ancient time. What Colosium in Roma means , it was the same for Asia Minor which is nowadays Anatolian Peninsula in Turkey. It is known that 24000 person could be apart of event inside this theater. This year and later it is going to be under a big restoration , so better go there this year.
