Wielandts UPMT is located in Seraing, Belgium on Rue du Bois Saint-Jean 15/1. Wielandts UPMT is rated 3 out of 5 in the category machinery in Belgium. WIELANDTS UPMT is a young innovative high tech company that was founded in September 2013 by Marc WIELANDTS. The mission of the company is to develop and commercialise original precision technologies and processes that make the difference for niche markets. WIELANDTS UPMT has developed a patent pending technology called DPI (Dynamic Part Indexing) that is a real breakthrough solution for the production of lens arrays. This technology was first introduced to the market in October 2015 during the SPIE OPTIFAB expo and conference in Rochester. WIELANDTS UPMT believes that DPI will completely change the way of machining and conceiving lens arrays in the next years. Monolithic multi cavity moulds shall be preferred over moulds using inserts to reduce the costs while increasing the accuracy. The technology perfectly fits into the evolution to optimise the production processes by making them ever simpler and more efficient. In order to provide a complete service to our customers, we have recently invested in a “state of the art” ultra precision diamond machining centre operating in a thermally stable and vibration free clean room environment. We offer machining of plano, concave, convex, spheric, aspheric, freeform, fresnel, diffractive surfaces. Our control equipment includes a Fizeau interferometer, white light stitching interferometer, confocal stitching microscope, surface profilometer, microscope, 3D CMM and optical CMM.
