I had a mani-pedi done here, and Cindy did a great job! She answered all of my questions about the differences between different products and styles. After having gone to a few other places in Helena, I'm so glad to have found this place! My experience was top notch! The place was clean and sanitary, and the ambiance was nice. Also, it didn't smell like nail products, which was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend.

I went in for a manicure before my baby comes next week. This is the first time I’ve ever been here so I have absolutely nothing to compare this to. Don’t know this lady from Adam. The technician was rough from the very beginning. She seemed to be in a hurry which would normally not be a huge deal but in this situation it certainly turned out to be. She took the polish off very aggressively, poured some white gel on my cuticles and slapped the plastic bags over my hands getting the gel all over my hands. Okay, cool. No big deal. Next, she takes the cuticle clippers and starts trimming. She started with my pinky, got all the way around my cuticle and then took a nice chunk out of my skin. It bled and she giggled and wiped it off with the towel. I wondered how frequently this happens? Another customer came in about that time and she got up to help them. Meanwhile I’m over here still bleeding. She comes back with the same gloves on and tries to start again on the next nail. I bring it to her attention that it’s still bleeding. At this point, it has started burning. She gets some kind of green liquid out of her drawer, puts it on a cotton ball and rubs it on the area that’s pouring blood. At this point I’m just over it because she’s still giggling but hasn’t said anything at all. Not “I’m sorry”, nothing. I tell her I’m going to wash my hands and then I’m going to go ahead and go. I have NEVER left a bad review or walked out of an establishment. I’m just not that person, but this situation really rubbed me the wrong way. Just don’t want anyone else to have to go through this.
Beautiful work and friendly service! I went with my bridal party and five of us had manicure and/or pedicure done. And the prices are super reasonable as well. Definitely will come again!
So, my 39 week pregnant daughter went in for gel nails prior to going into labor. Instead of enjoying a little self-care, she was basically butchered by one of the so-called manicurists, left bleeding while the manicurist helped someone else (never changing gloves) and then giggled as if it were funny. Really?! This is a health department issue. This place needs to be inspected and at the very least, the owners need to reevaluate whom they choose to employ. Don’t waste your time and money here. Go somewhere that is more professional where the manicurists actually care about their customers instead of causing them to bleed and then respond to the injury with laughter.
I was a loyal customer for over a year. I used Serene exclusively for monthly pedicures and twice a month SNS manicures. My family jokingly referred to the nail spa and it's employees as \Mommy's Happy Place.\ One afternoon, I walked in to Serene and noticed almost a complete change in staff and cleanliness. I was told the owners were on vacation and would be gone for awhile. Over time, I noticed a significant increase in wait time. More than once, I was given coupons/vouchers to compensate for waiting over 45 minutes for a pedicure. The final straw was observing an absence of integrity in honoring appointment times made in advance. During my final visit, I was given a wait time of more than 50 minutes past my appointment time. The rationale provided was customers had arrived prior to my appointment and would need their services completed. I understand wait times are part of the process, however, the current management is unable to successfully execute a scheduling system that adequately serves it's customers. Due to this gross inability to provide satisfactory customer service and their lack of transparency regarding management/staffing changes I will no longer be able to support this local business.
