This was a disappointing experience. I am not sure where in the book of holistic practices it states that women must project a false outward angelic, serene, soft, whispering, gentle approach but this woman exudes fakery.. for me. She asked me non-categorical questions and then treated me like I had given her a confusing answer when, in fact, her question was not quantifiable. I found her to be disorganized, more interested in herself and how she was portraying herself, more than she was interested in the craft and delivery. She was quick to tell me how many years she'd been practicing, all of her certs were prettily framed on the wall in gold trim. I didn't find this to be a spiritually healing, humbling, experience. It wasn't the practice, the acupuncture itself, it was the lack of practitioner authenticity. I didn't connect with her on the phone but I gave it a shot and I'd rather have my 150 back, honestly. We were not a match. She was also sure I would have relief that night but i did not. She's not a jack of all people-types but rather a 1-type person holistic person. So if you're timid, mousy, with lots of kapha, this is likely your person. Lastly, she never explained what she was doing and this was my first visit ever to this discipline.
