Stayed at Knight Stainforth for many years camping with my family when i was younger & I've brought my children a few times & they loved it especially the river situated off the campsite where a kind gentleman took my kids on his canoe to ride the rapids. Very experienced gentlemen & he made my kids day. The Knights table wasn't there at the times we went camping when my kids were younger so we had quite a few barbecues. More recently we've been camping when i brought my eldest son & his partner who have never been camping here & they both loved it especially the Knights table with a fantastic menu. We had grandma's cheese & onion pie & it was delicious. Also the fireworks a few years ago i bought vip tickets for me & my youngest son for a bit of quality father & son times. I'd highly recommend Knight Stainforth Hall to anybody. The view is outstanding & many walks all around the place. Excellent experience. Very helpful staff as well who go the extra mile. Can't wait to stay again. Andi trickett.

Ate here December 2020 whilst visiting the area. Absolutely amazing food and lovely attentive staff. One way system and table service only so felt safe during covid-19 tier 2. The beef cobbler was the best I've ever had and will hope to return again December 2021!
Just had Christmas afternoon tea there with a friend. It was delicious. A cozy room and a fabulous array of food. Compliments to the chef. Would definitely recommend
Excellent Covid 19 safety measures implemented and well worth a visit if you want to eat somewhere safe during the pandemic. The menu was not excessive but still managed to have something for everyone. Dishes were reasonably cooked and well priced.
This is a lovely pub with beautiful surroundings. The covid measures in place are good and there is plenty of space around the tables. The food is very nice with good portion sizes. Well worth a visit

Always eat in there while on holiday. Everything were cooked to perfection and definitely miss the food when we are back home.
Lovely little place with nice views over the hills. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chips were great and are made on site. Otherwise the food and menu was just ok from the perspective of a horribly spoiled Londoner.
