I took my Epiphone Casino into Julian for a silver set up as I was not happy with the height of the bridge and the playability of the guitar. Within a few days Julian called to say the guitar was ready for collection. On getting it out the case and playing it at home I was very pleased with the action and how easy and comfortable it was to play. Great Job!. I will definately return if i need another guitar set up.

I now have a fantastic new old guitar which plays as well as ever after getting it serviced here. I had the frets redressed as they were extremely worn and a new nut along, with the required set up. I was kept informed and had my approval on the work needed to be carried out. When it came to the setup it was completed just how I wanted it to be but with some good thoughtful suggestions and discussions along the way. I'm really happy with the guitar and wish I'd had the work done sooner. The prices seemed reasonable given the skill and knowledge required. My guitar was far from expensive and with the cost of the work balanced against how much I would have to pay for a new guitar of a similar quality the cost of the work has been excellent value... Also, now I have a guitar with cherished memories, dinks and scratches and plays better than ever. Thank you.
Been coming here for 15 years on and off. Useful for parts and accessories when I was a teenager. Only recently had a guitar I felt was of a value worth getting setup professionally. They did a fantastic job and really brought new life into it. Very professional work.
Never been to the shop, just rang to ask for a part and hadn’t even finished when the guy cut across with a blunt “No we don’t do that” that really did seem to rhyme with “fu@ off”... Guy came across both rude and obnoxious in little under two sentences. Based on that experience alone I wouldn’t visit the shop.. I wonder how many others have thought the same... food for thought perhaps...
I recently took in a very old ukulele for restoration, and was very pleased with the work done. Very pleasant and skilled service at this shop.
