This was a fun experience! The market tour at the beginning gives you good insight into the ingredients and their history. The class I was in had 13 people so having a hands on experience was a bit more challenging. But the chef was fantastic and ensured everyone had an opportunity to participate. I definitely see myself making some of these dishes back home.

Visual cooking and learnt a lot about the andalusian food(more olives, fried fish, chickpeas spinach). We also learnt how to cook authentic paella valencia, which was so tasty. I highly recommend this experience as part of your seville trip. Bonus triana market tour gives you a good view of food from the region.

Fun cooking class and a bonus tour of the old food market. My wife and I did the Spanish cooking class with paella as the main course and absolutely loved it! The cooking class takes place right in the old food market, which makes for a very cool setting and you get a 30 minute tour of the market at the very beginning which is also very cool. The kitchen you’re working in is top-notch as are all of the knives, appliances, etc… so it’s a great space. Plus the layout of the space (a giant island countertop where the stoves are located and where everyone has a station) makes it very easy to see the instructor and hear what’s going on. They also give you a lot to do, more tasks than in previous cooking classes we’ve taken, which was appreciated. Overall, excellent cooking class. Very fair price and well worth it. If you can take a cooking class with the gentleman with the beard and tattoo on his right forearm, you’ll be glad you did! He was one of, if not the best, cooking instructor (chef) we’ve had.

After a tasting tour at the market ( Mercado de Abastos de Triana) we proceeded to the Taller Andaluz de Cocina cooking school to prepare a fabulous lunch of Spanish Gazpacho, Potato Salad and a Chicken Stew to be served over rice. Chef Victor was awesome and made the whole experience fun and informative. Novice or experienced, you will have fun creating Spanish culinary delights. The experience added another dimension to our trip. We were not dissapointed. I am looking forward to recreating these dishes for my friends! A must do when in Seville.

This is an excellent cooking class that takes place in the Triana Market. The tour guide and chef are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. You will make an amazing meal, learn new cooking techniques and gain understanding of Sevillian cuisine. Highly recommend!!
