I really look forward to after Covid when the center can reopen. Already many of its outdoor programs could be done safely with distance & masking. Accommodations in # of people allowed inside could also allow use of indoor part of Environmental Learning & Shopping part of the Center to be made available. The National Audubon office just has to determine that this is important enough to fund it. Many wealthy Audubon donors could make many functions of the Center available even during pandemic. The issue is financial & political.
