1st when walking in there's the aroma from the smoker to get the senses working. We had a reservation, waited about ten minutes. Social distancing in practice, tables suitably spaced. Cleanliness was a plus. Waitress was friendly but not overbearing. We had 4 adults and 2 grandsons. Menu had good variety, reasonable prices unless you order steak (25 - 30). Brisket was very good, smoked on site, wife also had crab cake-a little thin but tasty. Bbq was good, clam corn chowder was awesome. The boy's fried shrimp, fries and Mac and cheese very good. The jalapeno poppers extremely good. Portion size was substantial. The negatives, long wait for food and it did not come out piping hot, more towards warm. If you like Cole slaw, you will be disappointed. If food had been hot and not as long a wait, it would be

Nice restaurant, good service but poor food quality. We ordered a steak. It was thin cut not thick and juicy. Plus my baked potato was burnt. Never should of been brought out.. They also forgot my salad. Good points, it was clean and great staff. The prices were high for the quality.
Food was really good and the service was good as well. Everyone greeted us with kindness and it was a very enjoyable dinner. Sweet tea was good and the bar had great options too. They were out of prime rib unfortunately but I got the pit master combo and it was fantastic. Even had great smoke flavor. The wings are cooked perfectly too. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, and is a very clean place. If anyone has a bad experience I would have to say they didn’t mention anything. The staff was constantly checking on us and making sure everything was good.
I had sauteed shrimp it was lacking in spices. Salad was good. Baked sweet potato was good. The sauteed shrimp was a side dish not a full meal so I ordered 2. My daughter had steak which she said was good. Waitress was excellent service.
The was the food and service was amazing! Highly recommend. We went May 27 and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredible. The chef visited our table. Could not recommend more. The ribs were unreal.
Waited about 3 minutes to be seated, which wasn’t bad. Seated in a section with a group of 4 people. Their waitress very attentive to them. Brought drink refills and their meal as my husband and I sat at our table waiting to have our order taken. Their waitress came back at least twice checking on the other table still no one even said a word to us. The bartender walked around like she had nothing better to do, she saw that we were still waiting and no service. Waited at least 15 minutes and then walked out. WON’T be giving Chance’s another chance.
Three people ordered steaks medium rare and all came back well done. Plus had garlic on them. Salad was mushy and not crisp. Very light salad. Ordered extra butter with baked potatoes and got no butter. Beer was warm. Tea glasses never refilled. Fries were nasty. Replacement steaks were medium at best and had no flavor. Very poor service on a not busy night. Price was ridiculously high. Will never return. Would rate less than 1 star but don’t want anyone to think I neglected to rate. Very very poor.
Staff is excellent & very service oriented. We never had to ask for refills because our server was there before we asked. Food is excellent. I had crab corn chowder which was very good. My husband had the pasta, also very good. Portions are large enough we needed to take some home. Owner is very hands on & spent time talking with us. I highly recommend this restaurant & will be returning soon for more great food. Just what this area needed.
