This place is the Best laundry mat service in town. They are extremely clean. That have the industrial size washing machines and dryers as well as the regular size ones. The only thing I don't not like is how expensive it is to actually wash the clothes. It is way to expensive.

Hadn't been to a laundry mat in 20 years...and the ladies here were SO SO sweet, nice and helpful!!!! :) I found this place while we were vacationing in Ocean Isle Beach. WORTH the short drive! It had great reviews...and that is why I chose it!! Very happy!!!

I love this place. Clean, friendly staff. Washers and dryers always work when I'm there and it's worth the money! They also wash/fold clothes for a fee and I've used that as well with great outcome!

We visited the area and decided to maximize time with our family by utilizing the wash and fold service instead of doing laundry. I dropped off several baskets to be washed and they were returned a couple days later as promised. I wouldn’t say that the lady is rude, but she was anything but friendly. Our displeasure was with the fact that we had several sock pairs missing, and found other single random socks in our laundry. Approximately 20% of our clothing was decreased in size with a jacket that had to be donated because it would no longer fit. My wife had an undergarment that melted together; Items that are generally hung, like Oxford shirts, were folded instead. Overall, we were disappointed in our visit and will not use their service again.

I had my first visit to The Laundry Cottage after my washing machine decided to clean my floors instead of my laundry. I'm impressed! I grew up using laundromats and this is definitely one of the nicer ones I've had to use. They offer drop off services and also have plenty of chairs for when you just want to wait the hour itll take to get your clothes washed and dried. There are 15 dryers and around 20 or so washers of various sizes. They have an atm machine, as well as a change dispenser that can give you either quarters or 1 coins. They also sell detergents and other laundry products here in case you forgot them. I also believe they can handle big washes like boat covers and such. Just call ahead to make sure.
