I got 2 steak & shrimp plates and a steak & chicken plate plus some sushi. Sushi was decent but the shrimp tasted like plain fish, steak and rice were super dry like they've been sitting out all day. The vegetables wasn't cooked right at all. Use to really like Tokyo express but they went down a lot.

This place never disappoints. Tasty food, prepared in open, visible kitchen. Attentive staff. Atmosphere is fast food variety. Nice portions and acceptable cost. Come here several times per year, and will be back. Yummy, high sodium meals, unlimited soda and yum yum sauce. Sushi just ok.
Fast service. Cooked while you wait and delicious food.
I love my Shallotte, NC Tokyo Express!! Great food and wonderful service! These guys know my order when I walk in the door.
