If I could give less than one star I would. It's Impossible to reach local office by phone. I had to file a claim for a package that was \delivered\ but never received. The claim was closed but I didn't receive feedback as to their findings. I went to post office when I couldn't reach them by phone. I was basically told the claim was closed because the package was \delivered\. The clerk then went on to tell me they wouldn't risk their job to steal my \little\ package. I asked for a supervisor who told me he would send carrier out to \look for\ the package, and would call me back the following day. I'm still waiting for the call.

Postal workers should Not park beside the building where customers NEED to park. They should park in the back. That includes a gray Jeep & a Cheverlot van.
Horrible.. Employee ran to door at 426pm to lock door on me... Just had a drop off, postage already paid. Would never go if I had multiple things at this time of day..
I go into the Shallotte post office quite frequently. They are always very friendly, knowledgeable and quick. I think the post office gets a bad rap. Maybe some deserved? But from my personal experience, this post office has always been top notch!
Unacceptable.... Keeps returning my packages to sender despite being addressed to active PO Box. The driver takes it out for delivery for some reason and then returns to sender within an hour before it can be stopped. Maybe read the shipping label before throwing packages in the return area, or hire someone that doesn’t treat others mail carelessly. AND some of my mail has been placed into another persons PO Box. That person opened my package to see the receipt and called me to let me know. Thankfully he was nice. I don’t really like my address and personal information being sent to other people!!!
