This is a local famous restaurant which featured in lake crab and rice wine. To eat the lake crab, you need to choose a right season which means Oct. to Jan. of next year. And you need to learn the proper tools to eat the crab. A little bit complicated but a good way to learn how the local people enjoy the lake crab.

Best crab dish in Shanghai
Specialise in serving Chinese mitten crab (大闸蟹). Apparently quite famous but we think its just so-so. Maybe they are the best when it comes to preparing the seasonal Chinese mitten crab(didn't stay long enough to find out). The lady that served us had helped us pry open and clean out most of the inedible crab intestine, which is great because they serve the whole crab after steaming it, which is how the local believe it is tastes best (true enough). Price per crab is seasonal, the one we had isn't big, probably palm size full and cost 180 RMB.
Normally I'd I'll buy but I'm scared they will shoot me and you they like shooting people over green screens
This restaurant has really good crab, which is what it specializes in. You can even get a little overwhelmed by the crab meat after a while I think.
